Description Iren F1
Irene F1 Radish — a fast-maturing hybrid of Dutch selection, primarily intended for cultivation in greenhouses, especially during the winter period from October to February. The vegetative period is approximately 28-30 days from sowing, allowing for an early harvest. The hybrid is characterized by high germination and resistance to stressful conditions, including sharp temperature fluctuations and low light levels, as well as immunity to diseases such as white rot and other common ailments.

The fruits of Irene radish have a round shape and bright red color, with a weight ranging from 25 to 70 grams depending on growing conditions. They feature a smooth, even surface, dense and juicy white flesh with a pleasant mildly spicy flavor without bitterness. The radish retains its firmness and vibrant color even after washing, transportation, and storage, making it attractive for retail as both bunches and loose weight on fresh markets. A strong and well-developed leafy apparatus contributes to the production of quality bunches.

Irene radish requires minimal care, but develops better with regular watering and fertilization. The recommended sowing rate is 200-240 plants per square meter. Due to its excellent taste and high vitamin content, this variety is ideal for fresh consumption, especially in early spring, providing the body with essential nutrients.
