Curage is an early-maturing parthenocarpic cucumber hybrid with female flowering type and indeterminate growth. The period from germination to the beginning of fruiting is 38 to 46 days. The plants are medium-sized, well-leafed, with 2 to 6 fruits forming per node on the main stem and up to 5-8 on lateral branches. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation both in greenhouses and film-covered structures, as well as in open ground, making it universal for various cultivation conditions.
The fruits of Curage have a cylindrical shape, a length of 10 to 18 cm, a diameter of about 3.5-4.5 cm, and a weight of 90 to 140 grams. The pickles are dark green in color with a large-warted surface and white spines. The flesh is crisp, aromatic, tender, and slightly sweet in taste. Cucumbers possess high commercial qualities, suitable for fresh consumption, canning, and pickling. The yield per one square meter reaches 16-18 kg.
The hybrid is resistant to major cucumber diseases, such as powdery mildew (both true and false), as well as root rot. Due to its resistance and early maturity, Curage is an excellent choice for obtaining an early and stable yield of high-quality cucumbers.
