Radish Bogema

A Snow-White Delicacy from Nasko

The «Bogema» radish from the Ukrainian breeding company Nasko defies conventional expectations of what a typical root vegetable should look like. Instead of the classic «red ball,» growers get an elegant turnip-shaped radish with flawless white skin and tender, crunchy flesh. This breeding achievement is a direct response to the market's demand for niche vegetable varieties capable of elevating both gourmet salads and farm shop displays.

Growing Specifics and Yield Potential

This variety belongs to late-maturing types: it takes between 60 and 70 days from germination to harvest. Such a growth cycle makes «Bogema» an ideal candidate for spring and summer sowing. Unlike early-maturing varieties, which often «bolt» under long daylight conditions, this radish type demonstrates remarkable resistance to shooting to seed.

• Root Shape: Perfectly rounded, ensuring convenience for packaging and logistics.
• Color Profile: Snow-white surface with a consistent, firm flesh structure.
• Agrotechnics: Prefers loose, light, well-drained soils, which are critical for developing smooth, defect-free root vegetables.

Nasko’s reputation as a manufacturer is built on the adaptation of hybrids to the climatic realities of Ukraine. «Bogema» is more than just an aesthetically pleasing vegetable; it is a reliable tool for continuous production. Due to its longer vegetation period, the roots retain their juiciness and marketability for a long time, avoiding the «spongy» or woody texture that frequently plagues many summer radish varieties.
