Misoato Red

Misoato Red — a daikon variety with round-shaped roots, red-pink surface coloration, and snowy-white flesh. The roots are smooth, standard, and high quality. Very tasty, mildly spicy, and free of bitterness. Good field storage. When sown at low density or delayed, the flesh may turn cream-white without loss of quality. Stores well until March. Used for fresh consumption (salads, cold appetizers, etc.).
