Radish Millom

Consistent yields in any season

For growers who prioritize predictability, the Millom hybrid from Rijk Zwaan has become a true gold standard. This radish doesn't require constant babying; it reliably develops a vibrant red color and holds its shape perfectly, even when weather conditions fluctuate sharply.

Field performance and disease resistance

In field conditions, the hybrid shows excellent uniformity. Its round shape makes harvesting easy to automate and minimizes sorting losses. The real advantage of Millom is its high resistance to downy mildew (peronospora). In high-humidity environments or dense plantings where other varieties often suffer, this radish remains healthy and vigorous. Crucially, it is suitable for year-round cultivation: it performs equally well in spring, summer, and autumn production cycles.

What every grower should know

• Planting: It handles density well and does not bolt if a basic watering schedule is maintained.
• Harvesting: The roots maintain their market quality for a long time without becoming pithy or cracking.
• Economics: Due to the high percentage of marketable produce, sorting waste is almost non-existent, maximizing net profit per hectare.

If you need a radish that consistently produces high-quality marketable yields with minimal headaches, Millom checks all the boxes.
