Radish SNIEŻKA (SNIEŻKA)

Agronomic Profile and Morphology

The «ШЬНЕЖКА (СНЕЖКА)» variety from the Polish breeding house PNOS Ozarow Mazowiecki is a specialized white-skinned radish. Unlike traditional red cultivars, this variety offers a distinct biochemical profile and delicate flesh texture, making it a high-value product for fresh market segments requiring visual differentiation.

Technical Cultivation Parameters

• Growth Cycles: The variety is optimized for spring and autumn cultivation. This timing helps mitigate the risk of premature bolting, common under long daylight hours, provided that standard agronomic practices are followed during moderate temperature intervals.
• Root Morphology: The perfectly round shape ensures uniformity, which significantly simplifies mechanized washing and packing processes. The white pigmentation of both the epidermis and the flesh indicates a lack of anthocyanins, typically resulting in a milder, less pungent flavor profile.
• Production Efficiency: PNOS Ozarow Mazowiecki ensures high seed vigor. However, to achieve optimal marketability, the crop requires loose, fertile, and pH-neutral soil, as compaction or high acidity can lead to root deformation.

Selecting «ШЬНЕЖКА (СНЕЖКА)» is a strategic move for growers aiming to diversify their produce assortment. The stable genetics provided by the Polish manufacturer ensure the crop maintains its aesthetic and culinary quality even when faced with the minor environmental fluctuations typical of transitional growing seasons.
