Radicchio variety Snowbird is an early-maturing and cold-resistant variety, allowing for a full harvest as early as 18-28 days after mass germination. This variety is characterized by synchronous ripening and high yield, reaching up to 4 kg per square meter. The leaf rosette of the plant is compact and upright, which facilitates care and harvest collection. The root crops have a round shape and a rich red color, with each weighing between 20 and 25 grams.

The flesh of the Snowbird radish is white, dense, glassy, very tender and juicy, virtually without bitterness, making it particularly attractive to consumers. Thanks to its high marketability and excellent transportability, the root crops maintain their qualities during transport and storage. The variety is well suited for growing in open ground during the spring-summer period, including regions with a moderate climate, such as Siberia and the Far East.

To obtain a quality harvest, direct sowing of seeds is recommended from April to August, with regular watering and thinning of seedlings. Snowbird demonstrates excellent results with very early sowing, which allows it to be used for early collection of fresh products.
