Pumpkin SWEET PUFF

Genetics and Fruit Morphology

The "Sladkaya Pyshka" variety, developed by breeder Anatoly Vladimirovich Aliluev, is a product of focused heterosis breeding. The development strategy prioritizes an optimal balance between fruit size and the organoleptic characteristics of the pulp, distinguishing it from mass-market industrial varieties.

Technical Specifications and Performance

• Weight Classification: The fruit weight ranges from 1–2 kg to 3–5 kg, making it a highly convenient option for domestic consumption, eliminating the need for bulk storage of cut remnants.
• Storage Stability: A key technical advantage is the high shelf life, achieved through a dense rind structure that minimizes dehydration and inhibits the development of microbiological decay during long-term storage.

The breeding program conducted by the SSPK "Agrofirma Mars" under the direction of A.V. Aliluev ensures high uniformity of traits. For growers, this means predictable yield dynamics and consistent harvest scheduling regardless of minor environmental fluctuations. The variety is characterized by stable maturation cycles and high fruit density, which simplifies handling and transportation processes.

The practical application of "Sladkaya Pyshka" is focused on markets demanding portioned, high-quality produce. The firm texture of the pulp and the consistent sugar accumulation profile make it a reliable choice for dietary and baby food production, while its ability to withstand prolonged storage periods enhances its overall economic viability for producers.
