Pumpkin ARINA

A Practical Choice for Every Farm

The "Arina" pumpkin from the Sedek seed company is a proven variety for growers seeking a balance between culinary versatility and excellent storage capacity. Developed by a team of plant breeders including S.V. Dubinin, I.N. Dubinina, and A.N. Lukyanenko, this variety ensures consistent performance and reliability under diverse climatic conditions.

Application and Agronomic Practices

In a farm setting, "Arina" is highly regarded for its consistent fruit weight of 3–5 kg. This size is considered the "golden standard" for household consumption: it is convenient for cooking single-family meals without the hassle of storing leftovers in the refrigerator for days.

• Storage: One of the primary advantages of this variety is its exceptional storage life. The fruits maintain their texture and quality for many months after harvest, making them a reliable choice for securing a winter supply of produce.
• Culinary Use: The dense, firm flesh is ideal for roasting, creating hearty soups, porridges, or using as a base for preserves and baked goods.
• Growing Tips: The variety responds well to organic fertilization and requires careful irrigation management during fruit set. Given the weight of the fruits, it is recommended to place a barrier between the fruit and the soil in humid conditions to prevent the skin from rotting.

If your goal is to harvest a crop that will reliably last until mid-spring without losing its marketability, "Arina" is a dependable addition to your agricultural portfolio.
