Pumpkin Kupchikha

The 'Kupchikha' pumpkin variety is a large-fruited mid-season variety with a maturation period of 110-115 days. The plant is powerful and long-vined, capable of occupying a significant area in the garden. The fruits have a round or oval shape, are colored orange-yellow and are well-formed. The average weight of the pumpkin with proper care is 8-10 kg, but individual specimens can reach weights of up to 20-24 kg. The fruit skin is soft and does not become woody over time, which facilitates their processing and use.

The pumpkin flesh is dense, juicy and orange in color, has high taste qualities, which makes the variety universal for various methods of application. Pumpkins are suitable for both fresh consumption and processing, including the preparation of fresh juices, porridges and soups. Due to excellent transportability and long shelf life, the fruits retain their qualities for more than four months, which allows using the harvest until the beginning of spring.

In addition, the seeds of the Kupchikha pumpkin are rich in vitamins E, B1 and B2, they stimulate blood formation and contribute to bone tissue growth. Seeds can be used for the preparation of oil, which adds additional value to this variety. The variety is undemanding in care and develops well on fertile soils, which makes it attractive for growing in various conditions.
