BABY PUMPKIN

The Baby Pumpkin variety is an early maturing cultivar with a ripening period of about 80-90 days. The plant is bush-type and compact, which facilitates its cultivation both by seedling method and direct sowing in the ground. Sowing for seedlings is recommended in April, followed by transplanting into the ground in May-June, while direct sowing into the ground is recommended at the end of May or in June. The variety responds well to the application of organic fertilizers, which contributes to increased yield, which amounts to about 3.2-3.5 kg per square meter.

Baby Pumpkin fruits have a flattened shape and weigh from 1.5 to 3 kg, with dark gray skin, sometimes with a brown tint or spots. The flesh is orange-yellow, medium density and juicy, differing in crunchy texture and high sugar content. Due to the high content of carotene and sugars, the pumpkin has excellent taste qualities and a sweet taste.

This variety is universal in application: fruits are suitable for baking, making desserts, porridges, jams, and other home preserves.
