Pumpkin PARISKA

Classic Melons from Agrofirma Poisk

The 'Parizhskaya' (Parisian) pumpkin variety represents a traditional approach to cucurbit breeding, backed by the expertise of the 'Agrofirma Poisk' company and breeders Nikolai Klimenko and Sergey Maksimov. In today’s market, where hybrids often dominate, this classic variety maintains its position due to its predictable yield and exceptional culinary qualities.

Agrotechnical Features and Yield Potential

A key characteristic of 'Parizhskaya' is its weight category: the fruits consistently reach between 8 and 10 kg. The rounded shape makes these pumpkins convenient for logistics and storage. It is particularly noted for its excellent storage life (shelf life), as the variety retains its appearance and flavor profile for many months, making it a strategically important product for farms aiming to extend their sales season.

Application and Market Reputation

The reputation of this variety is built on reliability. 'Parizhskaya' is sought after by both private gardeners and professional farmers. Thanks to its dense flesh, it is widely used in cooking: from classic pumpkin soups to applications in baking and juice production. Unlike many early-ripening hybrids, this variety requires careful adherence to agricultural practices, but in return, it offers a stable harvest that is resistant to long-term storage, ultimately increasing the profitability of the land during the winter and spring seasons.
