Winter wheat variety "Odesskaya Queen" is a universal, high-yielding variety recommended for cultivation throughout Ukraine, including steppe and forest-steppe zones. This medium-early variety with a vegetation period of approximately 270-287 days exhibits increased plasticity and resistance to adverse biotic and abiotic factors such as drought, frost, lodging, and grain shattering. The genetic yield potential ranges from 11.5 to 12.5 centners per hectare, with maximum yields reaching up to 113.9 centners per hectare, confirmed by trials showing yields 7.9% above national standards. The variety possesses high frost and winter hardiness, as well as resistance to major diseases rated at 7-9 points, ensuring stable yields even under low agro-climatic conditions. Additionally, "Odesskaya Queen" is characterized by high drought and heat tolerance, making it especially valuable for regions with variable climatic conditions. Plants have a height of about 90-95 cm, contributing to resistance against lodging and grain shattering, as well as preventing premature germination on the ear. The grain quality of this variety meets the requirements of strong wheat: protein content ranges from 12.0 to 14.4%, gluten content from 28.5 to 34.4%, and flour strength is 445-480 units. The 1000-grain weight falls within the range of 38-44 g, indicating grain size and uniformity. Due to these characteristics, the "Odesskaya Queen" variety is suitable for intensive agriculture and ensures high productivity under various agronomic conditions.
