The variety was created by intraspecific hybridization between a variety and a mutant line [Kharkivskoe 57 and L 82-8361 (M11 Kharkivskoe 65) DMS 0.02%].

1000-grain weight ranges from 7.7 — 8.4 g.
Drought resistance above average.
Resistance to lodging is average.
Resistance to head blight is average.
The variety has excellent grain qualities, with a branched kernel content of 16.4 — 17.4%, grain yield 80 — 82%, protein content 11.2 — 12.6%. The grain is bright yellow, porridge is loose, porridge taste score 4.8 — 5.0 points.
The variety has increased carotenoid content (4.5 — 5.8 mg / kg), which gives it certain value regarding its food and medicinal properties.
The variety exhibits high potential yield (6.0 — 6.5 t / ha). During state variety trials, it exceeded national standards in the Forest-steppe zone by 0.22 — 0.85 t / ha, and in the Polissya zone — by 0.18 — 0.56 t / ha.
