Submitted for state variety testing in 2010.
Created by chemical mutagenesis through treatment of the variety Orenburgskaya 82 with 0.015% ethyleneimine solution, followed by multiple individual selections.
Subaureum variety, with anthocyanin coloring of stems, leaves, panicles, and spikelet bracts.
Vegetative period duration 67-82 days.
Variety is resistant to lodging and grain shattering.
Melanosis infection from 1 to 2.8%.
Shows weak response to day length changes, suitable for late-season and post-harvest plantings. This allows additional yield of 1.2 — 1.5 tons per hectare, equivalent to 4,2 — 5,2 thousand UAH for superelite price.
Resistant to the first head rust race, tolerant to prevalent Ukrainian races. The variety has high technological grain and flour indicators: flour yield — 82%, protein content — 16.2%, thousand-seed weight 7.8 — 8.4 g, flour bright yellow, porridge rating 4.7 points.
Demonstrated yield superiority over standard varieties from 0.14 to 7.05 centners per hectare across all cultivation zones.
Highest yields recorded in the Polissia zone at Kozel'skii DSS (5.76 t/ha), in the Forest-Steppe zone at Vinnytskii DCESR (6.07 t/ha), Man'kovskii DSS (5.92 t/ha) in the Steppe zone of Ukraine at Vasilkovskii DSS (4.72 t/ha), Konstantinovskii DSS (4.97 t/ha).
