Breeding Legacy from the V. Ya. Yuriev Institute

The «Zdobutok» barley variety is a product of long-term breeding efforts by the Kharkiv school of the V. Ya. Yuriev Plant Production Institute (NAAS). • Vegetation period: 100–110 days, classifying it as a mid-ripening variety that fits perfectly into crop rotations requiring early field activity.
• 1,000-seed weight: 50–52 grams, indicating high grain filling quality.
• Protein content: nitrogenous substance content reaches 12%, ensuring high grain quality for processing purposes.

One of the key characteristics of «Zdobutok» is its resilience against adverse environmental conditions. Its winter hardiness score of 8 out of 9 points sets it apart from many competitors, allowing for minimized losses even during sharp temperature fluctuations.
