Variety distinguishing features. Variety — Nutans (nutans). Plants of medium height (68 — 76 cm). Anthocyanin coloration of leaf tips weak, awns long and serrated. Spike two-rowed, with weak waxy coating, cylindrical and loose (12.2 nodes per 4 cm), of medium length. Sterile spike occupies position from parallel to slightly deviated. Flower bracts finely wrinkled, with weak venation, gradually transitioning into awn. Grain elliptical, yellow, membranous. Main awn long-hairy. 1000-grain weight 46 — 52 g. The variety has high productive tillering — 2.0 stems.
Biological features. Maturity group — medium early, vegetation period 88 — 96 days. Highly resistant to lodging (9.0 points), drought (9.0 points). The variety is resistant to infection by the agent of net blotch (7 points).
Agronomic features. High-intensity type. Recommended seeding rate 4.0 — 4.5 million viable seeds per hectare. Standard agronomic practices for the cultivation zone, early sowing dates.
Under production conditions, the variety yielded 5.53 t/ha (Kupiansky "Solomenskaya DSCS", Kharkiv region) and 7.81 t/ha ("Agrofirm Dzulinka", Vinnytsia region). Potential yield 8.5 — 9.5 t/ha. Grain has good brewing qualities: extract content — 81.1%, protein content 10.0 — 10.9%, uniformity 98.0%. Percentage of conditioned seeds 75 — 85%.
