Description PADARUNAK
PADARUNAK — a mid-late Belarusian potato variety for table use, characterized by oval-round tubers with yellow skin and flesh. The ripening period ranges from 95 to 110 days, allowing harvest at optimal times. The weight of marketable tubers varies from 90 to 188 grams, and the number of tubers per plant reaches 8-12. Starch content is in the range of 13.0–18.3%, ensuring good taste and versatility in culinary use. The variety has high storability — 96% — which contributes to long-term storage without quality loss.

The plant is of medium height with semi-erect growth habit and intermediate type. Leaves are medium-sized, open, green in color with slightly wavy edges, and the flower corolla is white and medium-sized. Tubers have small eyes and slightly rough surface. The marketable yield of the variety is 144–194 centners per hectare, which is 16–20 centners higher than the standard Nikulinский, with maximum yield reaching 215 centners per hectare. Marketable tuber percentage ranges from 89–97%.

The variety shows resistance to potato cancer pathogen and golden potato cyst nematode, enhancing its reliability in cultivation. According to phytopathology data, PADARUNAK is moderately susceptible to blight in foliage and moderately resistant in tubers to late blight. Due to its characteristics and adaptation to Belarusian agrotechnical conditions, this variety is widely used in agriculture to obtain high-quality and high-yield potatoes.
