Lazurit potato — an early-maturing table variety, characterized by high yield and excellent consumer qualities. The plant is medium-height, semi-erect, with light green leaves and white veins. Tubers are round, with smooth yellow skin and white flesh. The marketable tuber mass ranges from 92 to 120 grams, and starch content varies between 13.5–15.7%, ensuring good taste and versatility in cooking — suitable for salads, soups, and frying. The number of tubers per plant reaches 6–11, contributing to high marketable yield.

The maturity period of Lazurit is 60–70 days, with the first harvest possible as early as day 45 after emergence. The yield reaches 210–258 centners per hectare, significantly higher than standard varieties such as Zhukovsky Early and Udaча. Marketable tuber percentage ranges from 87–98%, and storability is 86–98%, ensuring long-term storage without quality loss. The variety exhibits good early yield and high output of marketable tubers.

Lazurit shows resistance to potato late blight and golden potato cyst nematode, enhancing its reliability in cultivation. However, according to phytopathology data, the variety is susceptible to late blight on foliage and moderately resistant on tubers. These characteristics make Lazurit an attractive choice for farmers seeking early, high-quality potato yields with good taste and processing qualities.
