AIVORI RASSET

Aivori Rasset potato — an early-maturing Dutch table variety developed by HZPC IPR B.V. It is characterized by a vegetation period of 65-75 days, with the possibility of the first harvest as early as day 45 after emergence. Medium-height plants with semi-erect dark green leaves and medium-sized flowers with intense anthocyanin coloring on the inner side. Tubers are elongated with small eyes, yellow (chestnut) skin, and white flesh. Marketable tuber weight ranges from 82 to 181 grams, and the number of tubers per plant reaches 9-14.

The variety has high and stable yield: marketable yield ranges from 144 to 312 centners per hectare, with maximum yield reaching 420 centners per hectare, significantly exceeding standard varieties. Starch content is 16.2-18.2%, corresponding to culinary type C, making it suitable for baking, boiling, and French fries production. The taste is good, marketability reaches 73-96%, and storability is 93%, making it suitable for long-term storage.

Aivori Rasset exhibits high resistance to potato cancer pathogen and golden potato cyst nematode, as well as medium resistance to late blight of foliage and tubers. The variety also demonstrates heat and drought tolerance. Dry matter content reaches 28.3%, and vitamin C — 8.4 mg/%. These characteristics make Aivori Rasset a versatile and reliable choice for cultivation in various regions.
