Potato Luna

The Luna potato variety is the result of breeding work aimed at creating resistant and high-yielding crops. It undergoes state variety trials and is included in the priority directions of the Federal State Budgetary Research Center 'Ural Federal Agricultural Research Center Ural Branch of RAS'. This variety is distinguished by high resistance to diseases such as potato cancer, late blight, common scab, as well as golden potato nematode, significantly increasing its reliability in cultivation.

Luna potato is characterized by medium-early maturity, allowing harvest within 75-90 days after planting. Tubers have an oval shape, yellow skin, and white flesh, making them attractive to consumers. High tuber marketability, reaching 78-99%, indicates excellent quality and appealing appearance of the product.

This variety is suitable for both table use and processing into products such as French fries and chips. Due to its drought resistance and resistance to several diseases, Luna is a reliable choice for cultivation in various climatic conditions, ensuring a stable and high yield.
