Constance potato is an early, high-yielding variety with a vegetation period of 50-55 days, allowing the first harvest to be collected as early as 50 days. During maturation, each plant forms about 15 medium-sized, oval-round tubers weighing 70-120 grams. The tubers have smooth, yellow skin with shallow and barely noticeable eyes, enhancing their market appearance. The flesh is light yellow, and the variety belongs to two culinary types A and B, making it ideal for baking and preparing various dishes.

The Constance variety is characterized by high yield, which, with proper care and intensive fungicide protection, can reach 55-58 tons per hectare. It is resistant to many viral diseases, exhibits high heat tolerance, and is resistant to secondary sprouting and tuber cracking. However, the variety is sensitive to late blight of leaves and tubers, thus requiring regular protection. It also shows slight susceptibility to common scab, leaf alternaria, and black rot.

Constance potato is not demanding regarding soil types, but it grows best on light loamy and medium clay soils with moderate watering. The tubers tolerate mechanical damage well, ensuring high resistance to mechanical harvesting and transportation. The variety has excellent storability for up to 6 months without loss of market appearance or taste quality, making it popular among retail chains and convenient for storage and sale.
