Sunflower LG50616

Sunflower LG50616 is a medium-early, high-yielding hybrid developed by Limagrain. Plants of this variety have an average height of about 163 cm and a flower head diameter of approximately 17 cm, with a 1000-seed weight of 60 g. This hybrid is characterized by high initial growth energy, which promotes rapid development and successful adaptation to various growing conditions.

One of the key features of LG50616 is its high resistance to major diseases, including sunflower rust and downy mildew A-G. Thanks to this, the hybrid exhibits excellent tolerance to stress factors such as drought and unfavorable climatic conditions, ensuring stable yields and high productivity potential. Oil content in the seeds is also at a high level, making this sunflower attractive for oilseed production.

Hybrid LG50616 is recommended for cultivation in regions with intensive sunflower rotations and is suitable for conventional cultivation methods. Seeding rates vary depending on soil moisture: 45-50 thousand seeds per hectare are recommended under insufficient moisture, while up to 55 thousand seeds per hectare are recommended under adequate moisture. Resistance to lodging and cold tolerance make this variety a reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve stable and high yields under various agroclimatic conditions.
