Description Anuschka
The Anuschka potato variety is an ultra-early, high-yielding German selection developed by the company EUROPLANT. The maturation period ranges from 45 to 60 days, allowing for an early harvest. The tubers have a round-oval shape with smooth yellow skin and bright yellow flesh, possessing excellent texture and flavor. The starch content varies from 16.4% to 17.1%, making this variety suitable for various culinary purposes, including frying, boiling, salad preparation, and chips. The tubers retain their shape well, do not break down, and maintain their flavor after thermal processing.

The Anuschka variety is characterized by high yield — up to 500 centners per hectare, with up to 12 tubers per plant. It exhibits high marketability and minimal presence of non-standard tubers. Due to its high storability (up to 92%), the potato retains its qualities for a long time. The rapid emergence of seedlings and a high dormancy period make this variety convenient for cultivation in both farm settings and private plots.

Special attention has been given to the variety's disease and pest resistance. Anuschka shows high resistance to golden nematode (PCN Ro1, Ro4), potato cyst nematode, potato virus Y (PVY), leaf curl (PLRV), late blight, black scab, rhizoctonia, and common scab. Moderate or low sensitivity to spotting, darkening after boiling, and mechanical damage reduces losses during harvest and transportation, making this variety a reliable and profitable choice for cultivation.
