Description Gurman
The Gourmand potato variety is an early-mid-season dietary variety with a vegetation period of 75-80 days. The tubers have an oval shape and are covered with a dense dark-purple skin, while the flesh has a unique blue-purple hue with white edges. Plants reach a height of about 70 cm, and each plant yields 12-14 tubers weighing up to 110 grams each. This variety is characterized by high yield, reaching 35-40 tons per hectare, and resistance to diseases such as late blight and scab, as well as moderate resistance to Phytophthora infestans affecting foliage and tubers.

Gourmand is valued not only for its decorative appearance but also for its health benefits. It contains antioxidants that support cardiovascular health and have therapeutic effects. Due to its dietary qualities, the potato is suitable for various cooking methods: it can be eaten raw, for example, in salads, or used for boiling in the peel, baking, and preparing soups.

This potato variety is ideal for cultivation under various climatic conditions due to its resistance to adverse weather factors and diseases. The Gourmand seed potato is an excellent choice for those who appreciate the combination of taste, health benefits, and decorative appeal in one product.
