Potato variety Madeline — a mid-early Dutch variety that matures in approximately 70-80 days after sprouting. The first harvest can be taken as early as 45 days, allowing for an early yield. The variety is distinguished by high yield — 16-18 oval, uniform tubers weighing 100-110 grams each can be harvested from one plant. Yield reaches up to 330 centners per hectare, with tuber preservation rate around 95%. Madeline is suitable for cultivation both in private plots and on a commercial scale, especially excelling on light, well-drained soils of southern regions.

Madeline potato tubers have an attractive market appearance due to their smooth oval shape and yellow skin. The flesh has excellent flavor, is easy to peel, and does not darken after cutting, making the variety popular among consumers. The potato has high storability and can be stored for a long time without quality loss. For earlier maturation, it is recommended to pre-sprout tubers and treat them with fungicide-insecticide preparations before planting. Planting under plastic film is also possible to improve growing conditions.

The Madeline variety is resistant to golden cyst nematode, potato late blight, and viral diseases such as A and Yn, significantly reducing the risk of yield loss. However, resistance to common scab and tuber blight is moderate, so appropriate agronomic measures are recommended for disease prevention.
