LORH

Lorh potato is a medium-late table variety with a maturity period of 110 to 120 days. This variety features round-oval, light beige tubers with white flesh, which has good cooking properties and does not darken after preparation. The weight of one tuber ranges from 90 to 120 grams, making it suitable for various culinary purposes. The high tuber marketability, reaching 88-92%, ensures an attractive appearance and product quality.

The Lorh variety is characterized by moderate yield, typically around 250 centners per hectare, but can reach up to 350 centners per hectare under favorable conditions. It is resistant to viral diseases, enhancing cultivation reliability, although it is susceptible to diseases such as potato cyst nematode, leaf and tuber late blight, golden nematode, and common scab. Despite this, the variety is adaptable to various soils and requires minimal care, simplifying cultivation.

Lorh potato is suitable for both table use and feed purposes. It grows successfully in various regions, including Northwestern, Central, Volga-Vyatka, Central Chernozem, North Caucasus, Middle Volga, Lower Volga, Ural, and West Siberian regions. For optimal growth, sunny locations are recommended, promoting maximum yield and tuber quality.
