ALOUETTE

The ALOUETTE potato is a medium-ripening, versatile variety developed by Agrico in the Netherlands. It features large oval tubers with a dark red skin, surface eyes, and dense light-yellow flesh. Tubers weigh between 97 and 130 grams, and their shape and size ensure high marketability and an appealing appearance.

This variety is characterized by high yield, reaching 199 to 450 centners per hectare, which corresponds to approximately 12-14 tubers per plant. The vegetation period lasts 70-80 days, and the first young harvest can be collected as early as day 45. Medium-height plants with upright dark green leaves contribute to strong growth and plant resilience.

ALOUETTE exhibits high resistance to late blight (both foliage and tubers), potato cancer, and the golden potato cyst nematode. Additionally, the variety is resistant to Y-viruses and nematodes of various strains (RO 1, 4, 2, 3). Thanks to its dense flesh and excellent flavor, the potato is suitable for frying, boiling, and baking, making it a versatile ingredient for various culinary purposes. The storage capacity of the variety reaches 96%, ensuring long-term storage without quality loss.
