Potato Dniproanka

The Dniproanka potato variety is an early table variety recommended for cultivation in the Polissia, forest-steppe, and steppe zones. The vegetation period is 55-65 days, allowing harvest as early as 40-45 days after emergence. Tubers have a short-oval shape with yellow skin and surface eyes, and the flesh is light-yellow, retaining its color after culinary processing. The variety is characterized by good taste qualities, rated 4.4 out of 5, and medium starch content — 14-15%. Dniproanka is highly productive: technological yield reaches 170 c/ha in early stages and up to 450 c/ha by the end of vegetation. The plant is resistant to several diseases, including potato blight, potato nematode, phytophthora, and ring rot, significantly simplifying care and reducing yield losses. Additionally, the variety has good storage capacity, allowing tubers to be kept for a long time without loss of quality. This potato variety is suitable for cultivation in mid-latitude regions and features rapid germination. Tubers have a dense texture, making them versatile for various cooking methods. Due to its combination of high yield, disease resistance, and excellent taste, Dniproanka is a profitable choice for both farmers and home gardeners.
