INSUN 110 is an early-maturing sunflower hybrid designed for conventional cultivation techniques, but also successfully used in extensive and medium-intensive agronomy. The vegetation period lasts approximately 110-112 days, enabling harvest within a short timeframe. The hybrid features enhanced early development, early flowering, and medium height of mature plants, which contributes to its adaptability to various climatic conditions, including steppe and forest-steppe zones.
One of the key features of INSUN 110 is its high resistance to a broad spectrum of diseases and stress factors. The hybrid exhibits resistance to downy mildew A-G, false powdery mildew due to the presence of PL6 and PL9 genes, verticillium wilt, fusarium, rust, black mold, sclerotinia, and gray and white mold. Additionally, it is tolerant to infestation by sunflower moth and resistant to seed shattering. These traits ensure stable yields even under adverse conditions.
INSUN 110 is characterized by high drought tolerance and the ability to grow effectively under limited water availability, making it an optimal choice for regions with restricted water supply. The recommended seeding rate varies from 50-55 thousand seeds per hectare under insufficient water to 60-65 thousand under sufficient water. The hybrid demonstrates high yield potential — up to 55 centners per hectare, with oil content in seeds reaching 48-50%, making it highly profitable for oilseed production.
