Potato Evolution — a medium-early table variety of Dutch selection, distinguished by high yield and excellent taste qualities. Tubers mature within 50 to 80 days after planting, have an oval shape, dark-red skin, and light-yellow flesh. The average weight of tubers ranges from 70 to 140 grams. This variety is valued for its attractive market appearance and versatility in cooking: tubers are suitable for frying, soups, and mashed potatoes, and they hardly change color during cooking, preserving the appeal of dishes.

Evolution exhibits high resistance to mechanical damage, making it convenient for mechanized harvesting and transportation. The variety demonstrates resistance to viral diseases, nematodes, and late blight, as well as moderate resistance to common scab. To achieve maximum yield, it is recommended to grow potatoes on sandy soils with adequate watering, as the variety is water-dependent and requires regular irrigation.

Potato Evolution is characterized by high storability, allowing tubers to be stored until spring without loss of quality. Due to its early maturation and the possibility of the first harvest as early as day 45-50, this variety is often used for producing early potatoes. High yield, reaching up to 590 centners per hectare, makes this variety attractive for both commercial cultivation and personal use.
