Description Euroviva
Potato variety Euroviva is a mid-late variety with high starch content, reaching 16-21%, making it versatile for various culinary purposes, including cooking, chips, and semi-finished products. Tubers are large, weighing from 120 to 170 grams, with light-yellow skin and white flesh that does not darken during thermal processing. Eyes are shallow and spaced apart, facilitating cleaning. Maturation takes 95-110 days, and yields may reach 300-600 centners per hectare depending on growing conditions and agronomy.

Plants feature well-developed bushes up to 70-80 cm tall with upright stems and white flowers. The variety is highly resistant to several diseases, including potato blight, cyst nematode, mosaic, black scab, late blight, and leaf curl virus. It also exhibits high resistance to mechanical damage: cut areas dry out quickly, preventing tuber rot.

Euroviva is suitable for cultivation in the Volga-Vyatka and Central regions of Russia and maintains good storage quality until March with a commercial yield of 95-97%. Despite this, tubers are best used first, as they are less suitable for long-term winter storage. High starch content and resistance to pests and diseases make this variety an attractive choice for farmers and potato enthusiasts.
