Description Ariel
Ariel potato is a high-yielding mid-early table variety developed with the participation of leading specialists and adapted for cultivation under various climatic conditions. The vegetation period lasts approximately 65-80 days, allowing up to two harvests per season in southern regions. Plants are semi-upright with abundant flowering, and tubers have an oval-round shape, light beige skin, and cream-colored flesh. The average mass of marketable tubers ranges from 80 to 235 grams, with yields reaching 220-490 centners per hectare, and 10-15 tubers per plant.

The variety is characterized by high marketability (88-92%) and uniformity of yield, making it attractive for private and small-scale farming operations. Tubers have excellent taste qualities, moderate cooking properties, and are versatile in culinary applications. Starch content ranges from 12.6-16.3%, ensuring good nutritional value of the product.

Ariel exhibits strong immunity and resistance to several diseases, including potato cancer, golden cyst nematode, striped mosaic, rizoctonia, alternaria, stem nematode, and fusarium. The variety is adaptable to various soil types and climatic conditions and shows drought tolerance. However, for maximum yield, it is recommended to cultivate it on nutrient-rich soils.
