Elin — a high-yielding sunflower hybrid with IMI cultivation technology, designed for intensive agriculture. It is characterized by early maturity with a vegetative period of 100–110 days and average plant height of 160–170 cm. The sunflower head has a diameter of 18–22 cm and can be either flat or strongly convex, which promotes effective seed formation.
The hybrid features high oil content, reaching 48–51%, ensuring high energy value of the harvest. Elin exhibits excellent resistance to a wide range of diseases, including fusarium, phomopsis, rust, false powdery mildew, gray and white mold, as well as high resistance to downy mildew (types A–E). Additionally, the plant demonstrates high resistance to lodging, shattering, and drought, making it a reliable choice under various climatic conditions.
The hybrid has good growth vigor and high yield potential, reaching 5–5.6 tons per hectare. Its high drought- and heat tolerance ensures stable growth and fruiting even under limited soil moisture. Thanks to these qualities, Elin is an optimal solution for farmers aiming to achieve high-quality sunflower yields under variable climatic conditions.
