KAIO

The KAIO potato variety is a medium-early table variety distinguished by high taste qualities and increased yield. This variety is characterized by a high starch content, making it particularly suitable for various processing applications, including the production of dry potato puree, starch, and chips. KAIO exhibits resistance to diseases such as potato cancer, common scab, and potato mosaic, which contributes to a stable and high-quality harvest.

The KAIO variety was developed within the framework of the national project 'Science and Universities,' confirming its modernity and adaptability to growing conditions. Due to its characteristics, this potato is in demand among both farmers and processing enterprises.

Specialized equipment compatible with motor blocks and motor tractors can be used for planting and harvesting potatoes. For example, the MKZ planting kit ensures precise planting depth from 5 to 15 cm and allows operation at a working speed of 2-4 km/h. For harvesting, a vibratory cultivator with a 50 cm width and a weight of 50 kg is suitable, which simplifies the harvesting process and increases its efficiency.
