Parsley variety Aromatic is an early-maturing leaf variety intended for growing in open ground, greenhouses, and for winter forcing of greens. The vegetative period ranges from 55 to 75 days, allowing for harvest from May to October. The plant forms a semi-vertical rosette up to 25 cm high and 25-28 cm in diameter. Leaves are dark green, glossy, tender, with a pleasant taste and rich aroma, making this variety ideal for flavoring dishes, preparing spice mixes, and garnishing salads and sandwiches.
The variety is distinguished by high yield - up to 110-120 g of greens can be obtained from one bush per cut, and total yield reaches 3.5-11 kg per square meter per season. Greens regrow well after cutting, allowing up to six harvests per season. Leaves retain freshness in a cut state for up to 10 days when stored in a refrigerator in a polyethylene package. Parsley is unpretentious, grows well in partial shade, is cold-hardy and does not freeze, making it convenient for growing under various climatic conditions.
For successful cultivation, it is recommended to sow seeds into furrows at a depth of 1-1.5 cm with a distance of 15-20 cm between rows. Care includes loosening the inter-row spaces, moderate watering, and fertilization. Leaves can be cut when they reach a height of 10-12 cm. In addition, the large root crops of the variety can be used for winter forcing of greens, which expands the possibilities for using this variety in a home garden and on suburban plots.
