The parsley variety "Emerald Lace" is a mid-early variety with a period from germination to technical maturity of 60-70 days. The plant is characterized by a semi-spreading leaf rosette about 45 cm high and a mass of one plant of 48-65 g. Leaves are dark green, glossy, ruffled, with a strong saturated aroma and pronounced curliness. The variety is distinguished by high productivity, average growth rate, and a strong, long stem, which ensures excellent quality greens even under unfavorable growing conditions.
"Emerald Lace" has complex resistance to leaf diseases, making them a reliable choice for growing both in open and protected ground, as well as on a windowsill. Greens regrow well after cutting, allowing for a minimum of three mass harvests without loss of yield. The variety is versatile in use: greens are suitable for fresh consumption, drying, and serve as a wonderful decoration for dishes thanks to their saturated aroma and exquisite taste.
For successful growing, it is recommended to use fertile, loose loamy or sandy loam soils with a deep plow layer. The best predecessors are cucumber, tomato, and onion. Sowing seeds is carried out in several terms: early spring, in autumn, and in mid-summer. Seeds are sown in moistened furrows at a distance of 3-4 cm in a row and 20-30 cm between rows, mulched with peat on top and covered with film to accelerate germination. Care includes weed control, thinning, top dressing with complex fertilizers, and moderate watering, which promotes the formation of healthy and abundant greens.
