Green Pearl — a medium-maturity curly parsley variety, distinguished by high yield and decorative qualities. This variety features an upright, dense rosette of leaves, 28 to 35 cm in height. The leaves are large, rich green in color, strongly ruffled, with a pronounced aroma and delicate taste, making the greens particularly attractive for culinary use.
The variety is characterized by active and rapid growth; the period from germination to bulk harvest of greens is 60-65 days. The mass of greens per plant reaches 48-60 g, while the yield per square meter is 3.1-3.8 kg. Greens regrow well after cutting, allowing for multiple harvests per season. Due to these qualities, the variety has gained recognition among gardeners and lovers of fresh greens.
For cultivation, it is recommended to sow seeds in open ground at a depth of about 1 cm, followed by thinning seedlings at the two- to three-true leaf stage. Plants require regular watering, weeding, and loosening, as well as fertilization after each cutting to maintain active growth. An earlier harvest can be achieved by winter sowing at the end of October to early November. Green Pearl is not only delicious and healthy but also adorns the garden bed thanks to its decorative qualities.
