Description CHASTUSHKA
Chastushka is an early-maturing leaf parsley variety that reaches technical maturity 57-60 days after germination. The plant forms a semi-vertical rosette of leaves up to 40-42 cm high, consisting of more than 40 smooth green leaves. The mass of one plant is 40-50 grams, and the yield of green mass reaches 3.5 kg per square meter. This variety is distinguished by a strong herb aroma and the ability to quickly regrow after cutting, which allows obtaining several crops per season. Parsley Chastushka is recommended for fresh consumption, where it serves as a vitamin supplement to first and second courses. In addition, the greens are suitable for vegetable canning and drying; for fresh cutting, leaves are harvested when they reach a height of 10-12 cm, and for drying - during flowering. Thanks to its qualities and aroma, this variety is widely used in cooking and household. Sowing seeds is carried out in open ground at the earliest possible dates, starting from April, at a depth of 1-1.5 cm. At the stage of 2-3 true leaves, seedlings are thinned out, leaving a distance of about 5 cm between plants for optimal growth. Several cuts of greens are possible during the summer. To obtain an earlier harvest, sowing under winter is allowed in late October - early November, which allows extending the harvest season and providing fresh greens at earlier dates.
