Description Katyusha
The KATYA variety of parsley is a mid-season variety with smooth leaves and a lush, large rosette that reaches a height of 42-52 cm and contains between 40 to 100 leaves. This variety is distinguished by a high yield of greens, which is 3.1-3.3 kg per square meter, and the period from germination to the first mass harvest is approximately 60-90 days. The leaves have a pleasant spicy aroma and taste, making them ideal for fresh consumption, including in salads, as well as for drying and freezing. After cutting, the greens grow back quickly, allowing for several harvests during the season.

Sowing seeds of the KATYA variety is recommended in open ground at a depth of about 1 cm in several stages: early spring (late April - early May), under winter (October-November), or in mid-summer (late June). When the seedlings reach the two-to-three true leaves stage, they are thinned to ensure optimal plant growth. For an earlier harvest, sowing under winter in late October - early November is possible. Throughout the summer, regular watering, weeding, and soil loosening are necessary, and after each greens harvest, plants are fed with complex fertilizers.

The KATYA variety is characterized by high resistance and the ability to maintain consumer qualities for 1.5-2 weeks under proper storage conditions. Due to its characteristics and universality of application, this parsley is an excellent choice for growing both in personal gardens and in commercial vegetable farming.
