The Mercedes pepper variety is an early-maturing, high-yielding variety with a period from germination to technical maturity of about 105-110 days. The plants are bush-type, of medium height (60-70 cm), making them convenient for cultivation both in open ground and in greenhouses. The fruits have a cylindrical or conical shape, 13-15 cm long and 6-8 cm wide, weighing 160-220 grams. In technical maturity, they are green, and at biological maturity, they turn red. The fruit walls are 7-9 mm thick, ensuring juicy and tender flesh.

This variety is characterized by high resistance to viral and fungal diseases, which contributes to stable yields and reduces the need for intensive plant protection. The Mercedes pepper is low-maintenance, but to achieve maximum results, it is recommended to grow it on sunny spots with fertile soil and wind protection. The optimal method of cultivation is seedling, with seedlings aged 55-65 days. Fresh manure should be avoided, as it may negatively affect the quality and quantity of the harvest.
