SEMCO 2013

Semco 2013 F1 is an early hybrid of Bulgarian pepper, suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in plastic greenhouses. The plant is medium-sized, compact, and bushy, reaching a height of 50–60 cm. The period from germination to technical maturity is 92–105 days, and to biological maturity — 120–135 days. The fruits have a truncated-pyramidal shape with slight longitudinal ribbing and contain 2–4 chambers. In technical maturity, they are light green, and in biological maturity — yellow. Fruit weight ranges from 80–100 g in technical maturity to 120–150 g in biological maturity, with a wall thickness of 5–8 mm, and a dense skin.

The pepper has excellent flavor qualities and high vitamin C content, reaching 140–150%. Fruit quality and transportability are good, making this hybrid suitable for commercial cultivation and marketing. Semco 2013 F1 has relative resistance to tobacco mosaic virus (TMV) and verticillium wilt (Va, Vd), enhancing its reliability under various climatic conditions.

The hybrid is widely used for fresh consumption and is also suitable for canning and home cooking. The recommended planting scheme is 70x25 cm. Yield in plastic greenhouses reaches 7–9 kg per square meter, and in open ground — 5–7 kg per square meter, indicating high productivity of the variety.
