Gvardeets — a medium-maturing hybrid of sweet pepper (Capsicum annuum L.), intended for cultivation in open ground and under plastic coverings. Plants are semi-spreading, of medium height (about 80 cm), and require support. From germination to technical maturity, it takes 120-125 days. Fruits have a cube-like shape, drooping and highly glossy, weighing 220-250 g with wall thickness of 8-9 mm.
Fruits of the Gvardeets variety are characterized by rich flavor and a bright pleasant aroma. In technical maturity, they are dark green, and in biological maturity — dark red. The plant simultaneously sets 8-10 fruits, ensuring high yield: under plastic coverings, yield reaches 7.3-10 kg per square meter, in open ground — 5-6 kg per square meter.
This variety is versatile in application: fruits are recommended for fresh consumption and are suitable for all types of culinary processing and canning.
