BALTAZAR

Sweet pepper «Baltazar F1» is an early-maturing hybrid with a vegetation period of 95-100 days, suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in protected soil. Plants are semi-determinate, reaching a height of up to 1 meter in greenhouses and 60-70 cm in open fields. Bushes are strong and branched, bearing 5-6 large fruits simultaneously on each plant, with 10-15 high-quality fruits per plant per season. Fruits have a prism-shaped form with distinct ridges, up to 12 cm long and averaging 180-220 g in weight, with the largest reaching 270 g. Fruit wall thickness is 6-7 mm, ensuring dense and succulent fruits. Fruit color is light-salad or yellowish in technical maturity, turning to a deep red upon full ripening. Flesh is aromatic, juicy, and sweet, making this pepper versatile for fresh consumption, processing, making relish, and canning in vegetable slices. Early fruiting and practically no flower drop ensure a stable and high yield that persists until frost. The hybrid «Baltazar» is highly resistant to fungal and viral diseases, as well as heat- and drought-tolerant, enabling it to set fruit well under various weather conditions. Average yield is 6.5-6.9 kg per square meter. Moreover, the pepper has excellent transportability and uniform fruit size, making it attractive for commercial cultivation and sales.
