Description SOLOMON AGRO
The SOLOMON AGRO pepper variety is an early-maturing hybrid suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in plastic greenhouses. The period from seedling emergence to technical fruit ripeness is approximately 72-75 days after transplanting, and to full biological ripeness — 95-110 days. The plant is tall, compact, and vigorous, with a well-developed leaf canopy that protects fruits from sunburn. This variety is suitable for modern plastic greenhouses and exhibits resistance to several viral diseases, including tobacco mosaic virus and pepper mottle virus, as well as moderate resistance to tomato spotted wilt. The SOLOMON AGRO pepper fruits have a cube-shaped form with a smooth, glossy surface. In technical ripeness, they are light yellow, and in biological ripeness — deep red. Fruit size reaches 9x10 cm, weight varies from 120 to 250 grams, and wall thickness is 5.4-5.9 mm, ensuring high fruit density and turgor. Thanks to this, the pepper is free from micro-cracks and highly transportable, maintaining its market appearance during transport and storage. The flavor qualities of the fruits are excellent, making this variety versatile for various uses. The SOLOMON AGRO variety is grown from seedlings, with sowing recommended in March, followed by transplanting into the ground in May. Plants are spaced 40-50 cm apart within rows and 60 cm between rows. Harvesting occurs from July to August. This variety demonstrates stable fruit set even at high temperatures in closed ground, ensuring high productivity and reliable yields. This variety is ideal for those who value an early, high-quality sweet pepper harvest with excellent flavor and market characteristics.
