SAHEM

SAHEM F1 is an early hybrid of hot pepper developed by Syngenta (Switzerland). This variety is characterized by a short vegetative period — 50-55 days from transplanting seedlings — enabling harvest within a short timeframe. SAHEM F1 is suitable for cultivation both in open fields and in polyethylene greenhouses or on trellises, making it a versatile solution for various climatic conditions and cultivation technologies.

The fruits of SAHEM F1 have a conical shape, a length of 10 to 14 cm, a diameter of about 2 cm, and an average weight of approximately 35 grams. Their color changes as they ripen: from dark green to a vibrant red, giving them an attractive appearance. High density and uniformity of the fruits ensure stable yields of large-sized produce, in demand in fresh produce markets and for processing.

The hybrid is highly resistant to stressful conditions, including low temperatures, as well as to mosaic virus and tip rot. Special attention has been paid to resistance to Potato Virus Y (PVY:0), enhancing cultivation reliability and fruit quality. Thanks to these characteristics, SAHEM F1 is a promising variety for commercial cultivation with high market quality and abundant yields.
