Forajido

Forajido — a high-yielding hybrid of hot pepper of the Habanero type, distinguished by its robust plant with a well-developed leaf canopy that effectively protects fruits from sunburn. The plant has good fruit coverage, which helps preserve the quality and appearance of the fruits. The average fruit weight is 30-50 grams, the wall thickness reaches 6 mm, and the fruit shape is conical. Ripe fruits have a vibrant red color, while in technical maturity they have a dark green hue.

Forajido fruits have a characteristic spicy flavor typical of the Habanero variety, making them suitable for both fresh consumption and processing, both in technical and biological maturity. Under optimal growing conditions, no microcracks form on the fruits, allowing them to be used for whole-fruit canning while preserving the integrity and quality of the product.

The hybrid is adaptable and suitable for mechanical harvesting due to the ability of the fruits to remain on the plant after full ripening. The vegetation period is 75-85 days, ensuring timely harvest and high productivity of the crop.
