Vegetable Pea Dytiache zakhoplennia

Pea 'Dytiache Zakhoplennia': A 2025 Breeding Debut

A new addition to Ukrainian selection, registered in 2025, this vegetable pea variety is designed for those who value ease of maintenance and consistent yields. Owned by Zhanna Mykolaivna Vovk, the variety focuses on distinct morphological traits that simplify agricultural management.

Key Structural Features

The variety stands out for its compactness: the short stem makes it resistant to lodging and ideal for small-scale cultivation. The yellow-green foliage combined with a moderate number of nodes creates a neat habit. A notable characteristic is the presence of spotting on the stipules, which serves as a visual identifier for the variety.

• Flowering: The medium flowering time allows the plant to efficiently utilize spring moisture.
• Flower: The white standard petal, broad shape, and absence of anthocyanin coloration highlight the purity of the line.
• Fruiting: The plant produces up to two flowers per node, ensuring an even distribution of the load on the stem.

'Dytiache Zakhoplennia' is the choice for gardeners seeking predictable results. Short internodes and a compact structure allow for high-density planting, maximizing output per square meter. The absence of stem fasciation ensures proper development without deformation, which positively impacts pod quality.
