Red Giant

The "Red Giant" pepper variety is a powerful plant with a bush height of 0.8 to 1.2 meters, successfully grown both in greenhouses and open ground. The bushes are semi-spreading and sturdy, ensuring good resistance and high yield. The fruit ripening period averages from 115 to 129 days, classifying the variety as mid-early to mid-season. With proper care, each bush can produce up to 10 large fruits.

The fruits of "Red Giant" are distinguished by their giant size and cube or prism shape, reaching 10-12 cm in length, with weight ranging from 400-500 g to 800-1000 g. The pepper walls are fleshy and thick — from 6 to 12 mm — making them especially suitable for stuffing. Ripe fruits have a vibrant red color with a glossy surface and a juicy, sweet taste with tender flesh.

This variety is valued not only for its large fruits and attractive appearance, but also for its high vitamin content, including beta-carotene, making it beneficial for health. "Red Giant" is widely used fresh for salads and slicing, and also excellently suited for canning.
