RED DRAGON

Hot pepper variety "Red Dragon" is a mid-early maturing hybrid, suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in greenhouses with plastic coverings. The plant is bushy, strong, semi-spreading, reaching a height of 55 to 70 cm, with abundant fruiting — 50 to 100 fruits form on a single plant. This variety is distinguished by its cold resistance, early and uniform ripening, making it attractive for various climatic conditions and cultivation methods. The fruits have a characteristic horn-shaped form, measuring 10 to 16 cm in length and 4 mm in wall thickness. In technical maturity, they are dark green, while in biological maturity, they turn into a glossy bright red. Fruit weight varies from 10-15 to 50-60 grams depending on growing conditions. The fruit surface is slightly wavy, with two chambers inside. The pepper has a pleasant, specific spicy aroma and pronounced heat, rated 7 on the heat scale. The "Red Dragon" variety is widely used in cooking: fruits are suitable for fresh consumption, marinating, canning, making paprika, sauces, and various seasonings. Due to its shape and wall thickness, the pepper retains its market appearance and quality during processing. High yield, reaching 2.3–3.7 kg per square meter, and versatility make this variety popular among both hobbyists and professional growers.
